Both seats on the canoe have finally broken completely, along with some of the aluminum mounting brakets. I fabricated some new seats from mahogany (some left over from dinghy repairs) using mortise and tenon construction then coating with West System 105 epoxy and 205 hardener. The brackets attach to the sides of the hull using stainless hardware and rubber washers. The expoxy should be coated with a uv protection coat of polyurethane, which I'll do in a few months when the epoxy is fully cured.

If any repairs are needed and the seats need to be removed, please note the numbered brackets (visible only when removed) and their locations. (They begin with #1 on the front starboard side and go clockwise to end on the front port side with #8)
